A rating only moves in a match against another person, and only
when both players' reports of it agree. Beating the computer does not count:
a ladder that counted it would measure how many easy games somebody had played.

Right-drag lays the selection out along the line you draw — straight, curved, an arc across a valley mouth
F (with units selected) toggles march in step: every move order arrives together, at the slowest man's pace
— there are no preset formations; the line you draw is the formation
A attack move · D guard a unit (yours or an ally's; right-clicking an ally's unit does the same) · S stop · R repair
Double click selects every unit of that type on screen · Shift (or Alt) queues orders, keeps placing buildings, and adds to the selection
